Now you can immediately pay your traffic rule violation fine from the place of action. In order to make its services more technology-friendly, Metropolitan Traffic Police Division has launched the 'Pay Fine On The Spot - Instant Payment System' system. Drivers who have violated traffic rules can now immediately pay the fine as per the rules and withdraw their documents from the place of action.The system was launched by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Janak Bhattarai, Chief of the Metropolitan Traffic Police amidst a ceremony today at the Metropolitan Traffic Police Headquarters in Ramshahpath, Kathmandu.In the first phase, the service has started from five traffic offices including Gaushala, Darwar Marg, Thapathali, Jawalakhel and Janasewa. However, drivers who drive under the influence of alcohol, do not follow lane discipline and violate red lights can only get their documents back from the Traffic Police Department after receiving traffic awareness training, the department said.
